I saw something good come my way and I kept it in sight, waiting to welcome it, standing there with a smile I couldn’t hide, a giggle I couldn’t stifle, and arms ready to throw the big fat bear hug of welcome.
So, Something Good came to me.
The smiles are real, the giggles meaningful, and my arms are wrapped tightly, enthusiastically around it.
But.
Just but.
Despite everything else going so well, I find myself stuck in a place between hesitation and running the other way.
