So I was having my usual Coffee At The Mall On The Weekend date with my mom and brother, and over my shoulder, I noticed something… odd.
Tell me: What’s wrong with this set of pictures?
Picture no. 1:

Picture no. 2:

To my family, I said “Only in the Philippines!”
To myself, of course, I said “Parking sign FAIL.”

and i say, where are the security guards who are supposed to enforce the rules?
not that i’m condoning this, but i think one reason we don’t respect the rules is because they are inconsistently applied. so a set of rules are enforced depending on who is in charge of enforcing them.
btw, lucky you for getting a cup of coffee today. i was already in starbucks but wasn’t able to buy anything… ang haba ng pila :((

There was a security guard like 10 feet away. He didn’t do anything. :(
We made up a story that maybe the owner was some rich guy who owned half the mall or something kaya mayabang mag-park. Wrong, but it happens. Bleh.
Dami ngang tao sa Starbucks!!! And I know it’s because of the Planner thing! :P

I completely agree with the inconsistencies with enforcing the rule. The MMDA usually does this. One day they don’t care if people park “illegally” on sidewalks, the next day, they do. It’s so annoying.

You should the “NO Loading/Unloading” signs too…
and the queue of jeepneys and passengers that come with it. What’s funny is how they do it so specifically in places that said “NO”, and not in the legal sidewalks just a few metres away. Haha. Big Fail as well.

Oh btw. You shouldn’t have censored the license plate! Haha. Let them be ashamed of themselves! Joke.
