…and she said a few interesting things.
I highlight (and paraphrase) my favorite “prediction”:
You’re not going to have a kid… Not in the near future. But, I’ll tell you, when you do, [the first one]’s going to be a boy. He’ll take more after you than after the father though. And he’ll be the musician in the family.
Now I’m not the type to take fortune-telling seriously at all, but come on, a musician son would be cool! I realize that My Friend The Palm Reader said “musician,” not necessarily synonymous to “rockstar.” But let’s pretend it’s the same thing.
I, Jewel Angeles, am going to spawn a rockstar son. Woot! \m/

I once had my palm read. It was an experience I do not care to relive.

Sosyal. I want one of my kids to be a musician/rockstar…kahit sa hula lang. Lucky you.
When I had my palm read, the Palm reader told me that I’m gonna have 2 boys that wouldn’t be a pain in the ass. Because Kid #1 is going to be a freaking genius. And Kid #2 will be like his dad (daw), though I have no idea kung sino yun. Lol.

@Ade: Lightbulb moment: Try having your palm read by someone who knows nothing about you? Maybe it’ll have a less traumatic result. LOL.
@KC: Then your genius son and your not-a-pain-in-the-ass son and my musical genius son can all be playdates while we, er, have coffee in your/my huge garden. Weee. :D

I had my palm read once too some 10 years back… one of the predictions was that I was gonna be an engineer. Heh. Glad I didn’t believe that guy.
@ Kc and Jung: Now I wanna know what the fortune-teller would say my kids would be.

Oooh, last time I had my palm read, the dude said some pretty depressing stuff like how I’m going to marry ONCE and it will not last. Fuck that, really. ~I~ make my own destiny and shit.

@Helga & Neolle: Haha. True, true. We should make our own shit happen. …But it’s still fun to see what a palm reader would say! ;p

you can ask me not to tell you the bad things :)

But I’d still want to hear the bad things cuz they’re half of what makes predictions interesting. Just not so creepily?
